Dr.Klaus Edlinger (Leibnitz, Österreich) - Cumbria Way im Lake District - Wanderurlaub

Dear British Travel Company,

Liebe Frau Mößlein,

From the 1st until the 10th of June my wife, Gertrude, and me, Dr.Klaus Edlinger, were delighted to walk the Cumbria Way from Ulveston up to Carlisle. We had only two days of rain. We want to thank You for the very great organization, especially for the very wonderful B&B`s. The houses and the bedrooms had a very high level -  and what was very delightful to us: All of our host were very nice, friendly and did more than they had to do! We felt as friends! (The nice Mr.Martin , who helped us with his car over some wet Miles, the most beautiful B&B in Caldbeck, the romantic B&B in Coniston, Sue im Lake District, Marjorie in Carlisle, Rachel with her big Bird and the red squirrels, and last but not least, Vicky , who told us about the faemers life).

You can be proud of the wonderful Cumbria Way, of wonderful landscape and friendly villages -  but more than this, You can be proud of those “sleeping-stations” You have choosen. In the next days I will write some nice lines about You. Maybe we will return to walk another way…

 

For now: We will always have a nice and warm remembrance of these walking-holidays in Cumberland!
